roasts a woman, it's Pamela Anderson? I mean, so far, the men they have roasted include: Drew Carey, Jeff Foxworthy, Chevy Chase, Dennis Leary, and Hugh Hefner, and possibly others, I'm not sure. But, with the exception of Hefner, all of the men are comedians. I don't believe Anderson is exactly known for her comedic skills.

So, what do you think the REAL reason could be for roasting her? Hmmm... :eyes:

1. I'll bet it's because she's a vegetarian.

3. Yeah, you'd think with all the funny women there
They could have found somebody else. I could see them doing one for Jennifer Anniston. She's extremely famous, and sufficiently "hot" enough to please the frat boy contingent, and is known for comedic roles on TV and movies.

4. Phyllis Diller, Anne Meara, Lily Tomlin, Whoopie Goldberg...
I guess Pamela Anderson is more talented, huh?

5. The promos for the roast actually embarass me
They make me want to change the channel, and my husband and kids are also made uncomfortable with the "surprise" insertion of soft core into our comedy watching....

6. Comedy Central still thinks all of its viewers are 13-y.o. males.
Personally, I think they'd do a lot better if they aimed more programming at the smart people who only tune in to watch Jon Stewart!
