3. Nope but
you should look up the definition of passive aggressive. :-)

Pot, meet kettle. :-)

4. I'm just glad to take the time to comfort that nice woman
in her time of need. That's all. That's something a caring person would do. Not looking for a fight. :)

7. Sometimes it comes across as disingenuousness...
It's a touchy time right now to be posting something like this that might be misinterpreted. You could have all sorts of reasons for posting it here, some could be perfectly honest, other reasons could be construed as manipulative... Why for instance did you post this here and not in the fat acceptance group... or did you?

I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but you know that you've already crossed the line a few times in this group. I do wonder sometimes about some of the things you post which, on the surface, seem nice and kind and right and good, but seem often to have some other underlying motivation. Like an itch I can't scratch... I can't put my finger on it, but sometimes your posts feel like some sort of setup.

And, Bill, I say this with sincere hope that you take it as constructive criticism. Please don't translate this into hostility, because it is not.

9. I know you're not being hostile
I think I'm finally getting everything with you. If you look at what I replied to Heidi it may answer some of your questions and all. No set up or underlying motivation, honest. I'm, by and large, a compassionate person. It really bothered me that her husband was treating her like that. I thought some of you would like to know.

5. Why did you post this here, 'bill?
Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 11:03 AM by Heidi
If that member had wanted help from the feminist group, she could have asked for it by posting here. She has a donor star, ya know.

So, why did you post that here? Be honest.

8. oh because
I noticed when I would come in here that some others post things when they see women who need help. So that's why I did, I figured some in here would like to know. That's why I never really typed out a message, I just posted it and left. Plus, she mentioned in her thread that she didn't know about the weight loss group or anything.

Just figured some of you would like to give her some comfort and advice, that's all.
