Elizabeth Edwards to Pen New Book
I hadn't heard about this yet. When I think of Mrs. Edwards, I think of a charismatic, influential woman within the Democratic Party, committed to progressive change in America, who is also a terrific feminst role model. Though I did not get to see her personally during the campaign days, I enjoyed every opportunity I had to see speak on television. I noted that this article mentions her recent "successful treatment for breast cancer." Great to know that she is evidently feeling better.

1. I did see her and
shook her hand but did not meet her. My impression of her on stage was very good. She introduced John and stood in the background with the rest of her family but did not ever seem to be background like so many women seem to be in those situations. There was obvious love and respect that went both ways between them. The adoring looks were not the "support my man" kind. It was very very nice. She seemed the total woman, not the shadow wife. I was very impressed with her on the TV and in person she was even more impressive. She was strong.

I hope she is well now. She seemed an amazing woman. A total, strong, very smart incredible woman.
