I personally found it interesting--mostly because I lived through it. It is a good summary of the feminist movement and the relation to politics for the last 40 years or so. I know we still have a couple of years before the 2008 elections but I think we should be working to make sure our issues are on the platform. The article may be helpful to some.

1. Haven't read the entire article yet, but the first thing I thought of

was reproductive rights. Preservation of Roe v. Wade, access to emergency contraception, and a more realistic attitude about sex education and contraception would be good for starters.

Are you looking for feminist-specific ideas, or other areas as well? Because I would dearly love to see the Dems stand up and defend public education before the Rs shred it limb from limb.
