My Pyramid Tracker
This is the US government's site based on the new nutrition "pyramid". It has loads of information about the new pyramid as well as a very handy system where you can track your daily food/beverage intake and see how it stacks up to what you should be consuming. You can get a glimpse of what nutrients you are getting compared side-by-side with what the RDA and lots more. Go here for more information.

Thanks for the link. I figured up my energy expenditure for the day and it was 3411 calories. I don't know how accurate that is, but if it's close the pounds should be melting off of me any time now because I only take in around 1800 calories a day.

2. I sort of wondered about that recommended calorie thing myself
They said I should be taking in around 2477 calories a day! I'm 5'3" tall for Pete's sake, and they said they were basing that on "very low activity estimates". I'm going to aim for a bit lower considering I'm trying to lose.
