One year ago today...

I had bariatric surgery. I have only one regret and that is that I didn't do it sooner. I had a biliopancreatic diversion with a duodenal switch. What a mouthful! http://www.duodenalswitch.com/procedure/procedure.html

I eat well most days. Some days I don't have much of an appetite but that's no different than what it was like pre-op.

I've lost 146lbs AND that is also now what I weigh. I take LOTS of vitamins and supplements daily to maintain my good health.


The whole point of my post here I guess is to give thanks to those of you who have been so supportive of me in the past year. It's not been the easiest year but it's sure getting better.

I could not have done this without the loving support of my husband. :toast: to Him.
