Has anyone here had success with calorie zig-zagging?

Has anyone here had success with calorie zig-zagging?
I plan on using the guidelines on this site. http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm With zig-zagging, you eat higher calories some days and lower the others. It's supposed to break up and prevent plateaus because it mixes up metabolism and you don't get used to a certain number of calories.

I'm starting this in late Jan., I'll let you know how it goes. :)
