"We need a president who can bring us all together," she said. "I know is the one."
Oprah Winfrey

I am going to be honest, I don't care for Oprah Winfrey and have not for a long time. When she came out for Obama, which is her choice, I found it offensive that she told us to 'think' about our choices (paraphrasing)and whatever else she said about her being a woman, blah, blah, blah.....

Where is she now??? Why isn't she running to her savior's rescue???

on edit: forgot to spell check

1. I quit watching Oprah when she started
thinking and acting like she was the spiritual adviser of the women of the world.

2. One thing is for sure
Oprah knew full well Pastor Wright was going to be a big problem, because she distanced herself from him many years ago. Obama can make 500 speeches, and I will still never be convinced that he attended that church for 20 years without conviction. He loved the Pastor as he loved his grandmother. He loved a Pastor that perpetuated hate for the white man and for America every Sunday, and he stated in his speech today that Reverend Wright is a part of him. I believe him. He admitted to being a liar, which is admirable, but he did it to save his run at the Presidency. He did it only when he knew he was completely unbelievable. His character needs work.

3. 'He admitted to being a liar, which is admirable'
he did? I didnt watch it. What did he say?

Most of my net buddies think this will be his undoing. Maybe. Im not so sure. The media is very forgiving when it comes to poor widdle Barack. Will it be his undoing for the nomination or the GE? I wont be voting for him should he lie and wiggle his way to the nom., thats for sure.

As an aside, I was pleased to see CNN devote so much time to Hillary in Philly. Usually, it's a 2 minute thing and then the voiceover comes on, "OK, that's Senator Hillary Clinton.." onto a story about a dog who dialed 911. But they gave her a lot of time. Something new Im not used to.

5. He said...
"did I hear the sermons - yes". I'm not sure how the speech will be accepted, and though I am a very strong supporter of Hillary, I try to be open minded, and his speech was just words to me. It felt like he was doing anything it takes to get elected. I'm sure they will show the speech over and over - be sure to check it out.

Hillary for President!!

4. I think Oprah has egg on her face
If she distanced herself from wright a long time ago its obvious she saw something she didn't like. Too bad obama doesn't see it the same way. Oprah has been fooled.

6. Here's where Oprah is now...

She's drinking someone else's
freaky Kool-Aid:

Oprah is giving a ten part class via the internet. If you want to (and you log on early enough), you can get the live stream every Monday at 9:00 pm for the next eight weeks. I sat through a podcast of the first one. I’ve downloaded the second one and am working up the energy to watch it.

At first, as I was listening to it, I thought of what I was going to say in a posting as I railed against her. But as I watched it, as I listened to Oprah’s excitement over the nonsense words coming out of Eckhart Tolle’s (toe-lee) mouth, I finally had to recognize and state unambiguously that Oprah is unsaved. And as a result of being unsaved, she is totally blind to the truth of the Gospel and blind to the absolute poverty of New Age intellectual and spiritual crap being presented by Eckhart.

Oprah asked him about the motivation for writing the book. Here is the answer he gave. Note that Oprah is more than willing to follow along.

ECKHART: And I, intellectually I couldn’t have answered, why am I writing another book? And it happened.

OPRAH WINFREY: And it happened. Were you asking life, universal energy? I don’t know. What do you call that? As a word do you – I call it “God.” What do you, what word do you use for that?

ECKHART TOLLE: Consciousness…

OPRAH WINFREY: Were you asking consciousness, were you saying, what do you want from me?

Oprah calls some mysterious consciousness “God.”

Then they start talking about the spiritual nature of flowers.

And that, friends, is where Oprah is today.

9. I thought i read something about Ophra disavowing Wright--think I read that-it
that is so (and not sure it is--)--then i assume O. probably is not as close to BO as in the beginning?--but maybe that is just an assumption on my part.
