And I see some parallels between Clinton hate and anti-semitism... I am not suggesting that those who hate Clinton and those who hate Jews share anything in common but the genesis of the hate come from the same place; any person or group that is so hated must have done something to deserve it...

Or as the more scholarly Dr. Stanley Fish puts it:

The closest analogy is to anti-Semitism. But before you hit the comment button, I don’t mean that the two are alike either in their significance or in the damage they do. It’s just that they both feed on air and flourish independently of anything external to their obsessions. Anti-Semitism doesn’t need Jews and anti-Hillaryism doesn’t need Hillary, except as a figment of its collective imagination. However this campaign turns out, Hillary-hating, like rock ‘n’ roll, is here to stay.

1. Great piece

I'm glad somebody in the media recognizes Hillary hatred for what it is. I also loved the comments sections. Many found ways to put into words the national psychosis that is Hillary hatred.

2. We listened to Obama's speech tonight. I really wasn't impressed. I don't see

what the excitement is over. Hillary is by far smarter, more articulate, and natural than Obama is. He has apparently heard the criticism about his non specific plans, but they were flat sounding and he didn't sound convinced that he believed in them himself. This country really needs Hillary. I thank her for stepping up to the plate and taking the heat she does to do it. She knows we need her so she sacrifices.
