After many doctors and creams and 15 years of SUFFERING, I have found thru my own research that what I suffered from was indeed mange.
I treat my cats and dog with the Revolution product to keep the mange off of me. It really works. ( Advantage does not work on mange.)
My first step to wellness started with antibiotics that treated the secondary infection that open wounds facilitate. Which helped to put my immune system back up to par.
Next was to treat the pets.
I never found a doctor to take me seriously, or vet for that matter. I just got to the point where I demanded what I wanted.
Wikipedia was a great resource. As well as many other sources for mange on the web.
If you don't have pets, then maybe one or both of you work closely with the elderly or children or in a medical facility. Or you repeatidly come in contact with another mange victum.
Yes, the hard part is finding a doctor to take you seriously.
I am free of the itching. I had it on my breasts, ears, neck, mouth, eyes, hands, arms, and legs.
My husband never got it. I assume it is because our immune systems are different. I also had head lice every year as a child in school, while others never got it.
Do the research and look for cycles and patterns of outbreaks.
Research...Demodetic Mange, Sarcoptic Mange which are what it is called in dogs and Scabies in humans.
It sounds horrible to say out loud " I have scabies". But it feels alot worse to scratch yourself bloody.
I truely hope that you do the research and you find some relief.
All I know is I am well now and I had the power all along to heal myself from that nasty dis-ease.
Be well. Lilyhoney
