1. i finally got a dx of fibromyalgia
after YEARS of making doctors shake their heads. it is basically a sleep disorder that causes pains in the muscles, near the joints. neck and shoulders are common spots, as is lower back. wrists and ankles too.

4. Yep, sounds like fibromyalgia to me too. The no sleeping is
the worst part of the problem for me. No sleep, no chance to heal. Good luck!

5. Internet Diagnoses Are Worth What You Pay for Them
I have an extensive collection of lower arm injuries, and what you describe sounds similar to what I have, which is most definitely not fibromyalgia. My arms were injured - by typing! - in 2001 and the injuries are so severe and permanent that I have lost full use of my dominant hand and am considered disabled. Tendonitis will not just "go away" especially if the actions that caused the tendonitis - like typing and mousing - are not stopped and/or seriously modified.

Of course, it may not be tendonitis, or tendonitis caused by overuse; tendonitis is often a symptom of diabetes. The plain fact here is that no one here can examine you and take a full history, and even if we could, it wouldn't do any good since nobody here is a doctor!
