Poor blood circulation - what OTC drugs exist that can help?
I now know that is the core problem. As far as I can ascertain from what I've been reading and all the symptoms I've got.

I promise to continue exercising, but I think I need all the help I can get. The tingling in my extremities is not good.

Thanks!

1. HypnoToad - can you get to a doctor?
That's not something you should mess with on your own.

2. You need a doctor
Reduced blood supply to the legs generally results in pain during exercise called claudication. There are medications to help this, but they are not over the counter.

Tingling is something else. You need to get checked out. That sounds like neuropathy, not poor circulation. The underlying cause may be a dangerous one.

3. I recently had a EMG from a neurologist...
No nerve damage was discovered, but everything pointing To nerve damage was present.

The followup from my neuro over the MRI sounded dismissive.

And I don't know if my main clinic, who did the blood tests, bothered to send the results to the neuro. They hadn't the last time, when the B12 deficiency was discovered.

Besides, my GP will just peg it on anxiety. What else is new?

My glucose reader is suggesting hypoglycemia right now, but nothing to confirm full-blown diabetes.

It could be Amyloidosis. I've some other problems that suggest heart disease too.

All I know is that anxiety can affect these conditions, but they think anxiety is the condition. The last 2 times I've been to the GP, he looked at some existing records and refused to do new ones. I'm being written off. But I've kept my counselor informed so the day I keel over, they'll go "Oh, we should have realized. Sorry."

6. Amyloidosis is One of THE Worst Forms of Kidney Disease
It kills really quickly. It's super simple belly fat biopsy to determine amyloidosis, but the other symptoms are overwhelming.

I have venous stasis from DVT. There ain't shit to repair the circulation - not even surgery. Pretty much you're stuck with compression stockings, but you really need to have those prescribed by a doctor to get the proper compression.

4. Holy shit. I have had episodes of that sort of pain...
I was thinking of other things, but not claudication.

I'm going to look up a new doc tomorrow. No more fiddlefarting with the anxiety-pusher. I don't have the time or life left.

7. Oral chelation might help. Here's one site with the pills. There are
others. I haven't tried it orally, but the drip system you have to get from a doctor work miracles.

http://letstalkhealth.com/store/category/cardiovascular.php

ORACHEL™

Oral chelation to chelate (clean out and open-up) the entire cardiovascular system.

Product close up The single biggest killer of adults is cardiovascular disease, with heart attacks and strokes leading the pack. Emphasis should be put on prevention of heart disease and not on the emergency treatment, which is the characteristic approach today. ORACHEL is the result of many years of research by Dr. Donsbach. With ORACHEL, Dr. Donsbach has created a formula which helps prevent the changes in the blood vessels which result in heart disease. ORACHEL also changes the biochemistry of the body in such a way that the harmful changes which have already taken place, can be slowly - but surely - REVERSED!

How could you not take ORACHEL? One look at the label tells you, this formula is just too good to pass by - vitamin C, vitamin E, niacin, vitamin B-6, folic acid, vitamin B-12, calcium, magnesium, potassium, cysteine, l-carnitine, Co Q-10, ginkgo biloba and the remarkable chelating agent, EDTA. For many years, we have believed the scientific community who told us that EDTA would remove plaque when used intravenously, but was not effective when used orally, because it could not be absorbed. We now discover that this is not true. EDTA can be absorbed and the inclusion of EDTA in the formula has created a major advance in ORACHEL and its results.

Dr. Donsbach considers ORACHEL the most important supplement of all, because without its benefits to the circulatory system, other supplementation will be far less effective. If your circulatory system is plugged up, then the necessary oxygen and other nutrients will not get to your cells and the disease process will begin in your weakest tissues.

In spite of the critics contentions that it was impossible for an oral supplement to make changes in the arterial tree, ORACHEL has leapfrogged from country to country because of the miracles that individuals have continuously reported. By-pass operations not needed, limbs saved from amputation, the enthusiasm and vigor for life returned - all this and more reported from taking ORACHEL!

9. EDTA Is Used As A Blood Preservative in Laboratories
Sure, it's also used in processed foods, too but I don't think I'd be ordering a preservative to swallow as a supplement!

11. I've got an answer
for you, but I will warn you ahead of time--the solution is a bit of a trick, but if you can deal with it, it's excellent.

Start taking niacin. Tell your doctor, though, because the doses I'm recommending need to be monitored.

Niacin opens your blood vessels and allows blood to travel more freely. You need to build up to larger doses, though, because of what is known as the niacin "flush." The flush is exactly that--your whole body will turn beet red and you will feel this super warm feeling all through you. It's transitory, though. The worst part, though, happens next: intense itching everywhere! Again, it's transitory, but it's aggravating nevertheless!

Niacin, in doses of 1 gram a day, is used by some cardiologists to help out patients who have high cholesterol. Since it's not a drug, there is no real interaction other than the side effects noted above, but it lowers your triglycerides and your LDL, and raises your HDL, which is the good cholesterol. Some people can't stick with it because of the flush and itching, though.

On the other hand, it reaches every blood vessel in your body, and that includes the capillaries which are often only one molecule wide. It's what causes the whole flush, because the capillaries are right under the skin.

If you want to try it, start off with 100 mg a day, then the second week go to 200, etc. I've been up to 1 gram, but the last couple of times I've been on it, I've stopped at 500 mg a day. It still works wonders.

You can find out a lot more about it online as well.
