 and :hi: all!

Now...WHERE THE HELL IS KEITH????? He wasn't on Dan Patrick's show today either!!!!

And...WHAT THE HELL IS BRIAN DOING IN LOS ANGELES TOO???

I heard that Tucker Carlson is also there. Given that he's doing Dancing with the Stars, I guess that would make sense.

But what the heck is going on??? Is Dan Abrams pulling a "Laverne & Shirley"...moving the whole network to California in hopes of boosting the sagging ratings???

What does this mean? Is Rita Cosby going to be their version of Rhonda?? Is Joe Scarborough going to start running an ice-cream truck???

38. That's it. All of MSNBC flew to Los Angeles to attend Keith's wedding.
Except Rita. Bwahaha.

Either that, or Stephanie borrowed someone's pink fuzzy handcuffs and kidnapped him.

OR...the fact that Brian is in Los Angeles proves that HE's having a hot, heavy affair with Katy Tur.

53. Dan Abrams' new game plan: "MSNBC" now stands for...
"Must-See News Broadcasts from CALIFORNIA!"

The new lineup:

Mornings: Don Imus broadcasts from his new ranch in Death Valley.
Afternoons: Ron Reagan LIVE!
Tucker Carlson: His new show--"Tucker Carlson's Dance Fever!"
Chris Matthews: "We're with the Angels and the Dodgers. Let's play Hardball!"
Countdown: "Which of these rumors about my social life will you be talking about tomorrow?...Good evening, from the city I lived in for ten years and still have many good friends in..."
Scarborough Country: "Where is Scarborough Country? Anywhere from Sacramento to San Diego. Anywhere from Redwood City to Oakland. Average Joe presents news that matters to the average Californian!"
Documentary Specials: It's back to the Bunny Ranch for Rita. After all, it's nearby.
Doc-Block: Constant reruns of "Lockup: Alcatraz."

41. Oh, that's the Washington Post party line.
Do not get me started on the Post. For about 18 months after 9/11, they shoehorned the phrase "popular wartime president" into articles about Bush. Even when it was clear his disapproval ratings outstripped his approval ratings, they still tried to put a positive spin on it. Even Mary McGrory, God rest her soul, bought Colin Powell's pre-Iraq war case before the U.N.

Of course, we also had to put up with eight years of whinging and sneering about Clinton and Gore from the Post. They went batty over the Rich pardon and also tried to imply Clinton left office mired in controversy while Reagan enjoyed universal popularity. A helpful reader pointed out that Clinton's approval rating was higher than Reagan's at the ends of their respective terms. Oops.

So expect Dana to kick the Dems like a front porch dog. He can't help himself.

91. VandeHei tried to link George W. Bush to John Paul II!
After the death of the pope, VandeHei spent no fewer than THREE articles on the supposed harmony between John Paul II's notion of the culture of life and Bush's polices. :puke: Coveniently, VandeHei did not dwell on things like, oh, WAR and the free market, and the criticism they elicited from JPII.

Yeah, I've got VandeHei's number.

70. Good one. But my favorite SNL commercial sketch ever

was "Action Cats"--the little plastic costumes you could put on your cats to make them into action figures.

"Stego-Puss!"

85. Thanks, Berry.
Oh, and perhaps Keith is in LA right now meeting the woman of his dreams -- by chance. Their encounter could all start with one simple question:

"Can you direct me to a hotel?"

77. You'll probably have to celebrate mine on Monday without me
My sister-in-law is coming in from Israel and my folks are taking us out to dinner. I keep telling myself, "no politics, no politics...." but there's nothing else to talk about these days. It's not going to be fun. The last time I saw my brother before he died was with her at the same restaurant we're going to -- it's really the only kosher place in town and my folks won't go anywhere else. That night wasn't great either -- it was shortly after the election and I was pissed at my folks and my brother and sister-in-law for voting for *. They could vote even though they lived in Israel. My brother said I don't understand because I don't live there. I said he didn't have to live with the idiot on a daily basis and had no idea what he was doing to this country. Not a great last conversation with him.

79. A premature
but heartfelt HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, Shar! :toast:

Do you already know that this latest event didn't change her mind? After all, * didn't do too much to help stop Hezbollah.

That sounds like a weird way to spend your birthday. I'd rather you were here with us!

82. I'd rather be here, too.
I doubt she changed her mind. I think most of the Israeli people were behind this war. I don't think they get that * has actually made things more dangerous. I'm also sure that they don't have a clue why he really cares so much about Israel. He doesn't give a damn about the people. As long as the Jews are occupying the land until the rapture comes. Then, it's b'bye, see ya, been nice knowin' ya. Of course, it's a bunch of crap, but that's all they care about.

88. Yep
But in the big picture, to Israelis, shouldn't the POTUS should always support them? I don't think they care why. :)
