:loveya: This is my last night of the week for live Keith. I'll be following in his footsteps tomorrow night: playin' baseball hooky. What can I say, can't resist the opportunity to sit in a corporate box.

 I shouldn't say that, they won their last game. But it never fails: any time Keith predicts great things for a team, they sink like a stone. Well, at least if it's the Indians. Botany knows it.

15. Not true
He predicted the Tigers would be great this year, and they are. I sent him an e-mail a couple of weeks ago congratulating himm on his prescience, but, of course, he hasn't answered me since he gave up e-mail. Of course, he's never answered me before either.

If they're the Tigers, they fulfill all his predictions!

Don't feel too bad, I never hear from him either.

I'm now reading "Blinded By the Right." That author used to hang out with her a LOT. It's pretty funny. He refers to people like her and Ann Coulter as "the blond pundits" and "right-wing fag hags."

Just look at the hand he holds the pen in on any given night.

That's why I find his lefty mousing so bizarre.

Then again, who am I to talk? I wear my watch on my right wrist. I just like it there, and there's no law says you HAVE to wear it on the left wrist.

Personally, I find it amusing that he's a lefty mouser. Usually righty writers are righty mousers. With him, it's like he has to mouse with the left hand so he has his right index finger free to type.

It just seems strange to me...like using your left foot for the brake and your right foot for the gas. They deliberately teach you NOT to do that in driver's ed, so you don't hit both at once.

use both of his index fingers on the keyboard... just to up his speed. ;-)

Actually, I started mousing left when I hurt my shoulder and it was so convenient that I never went back to mousing with the dominant hand. I only switch off if I've been working extremely long hours for days on end and the hand/arm/shoulder on that side starts to get tired.

What I'm wondering is whether or not that picture of blivet** has been doctored... perhaps the traditional Snidely Whiplash mustache had been added?

88. True story:
When I was a toddler, my mom took me shopping at the local Kroger. As she went through the aisles, she grabbed some cheese, and handed it to me. By the time we got to the checkout counter, I had managed to gnaw through the cellophane wrap, and had eaten at least 1/3 of the package. I became known as "the little girl who loves cheese so much." O8)

And, um, yeah - you probably can. But what a way to go! :9

91. True story:
I was at a birthday party when I was a kid, maybe six or seven. It was time to eat cake, and I said I didn't want any. From that moment on, and well into my adolescence, every time someone would offer me cake, my mother would say, "She doesn't like cake."

You cheeselover, you. O8)

71. Isn't it immoral to use a zygote for personal gain?
By that, I mean - isn't it wrong to use them, not because you care about their life (check out *'s girlfriend's abortion), but because you can manipulate others who do?

Some day, the religious hypocrites right will wake up and realize they've been used.

Then again, I don't think she'd be bothering with the two-faced kitty. No semen involved in the story. Lately it seems that unless a story involves semen, she ain't there.
