A Request for my cousin

This past weekend, while some of us were traipsing up & down 5th Avenue & gawking at the "art" at MOMA (& one in particular bitching about the cold--me), my cousin Barbara was walking a half-marathon in Austin, in 33F weather, with icy conditions. She is a participant in the TNT (Team in Training) fundraiser for theLeukemia & Lymphoma Society. The very fact that she even tried is an accomplishment in itself. She was extremely overweight (something all of us have been working on for a couple of years now to varied success), has problems with her feet & balance, and is a cancer survivor herself. I am so proud of her for completing this project especially since the weather in Austin was so horrible!! :loveya: Barbara! She is trying to raise $2000, and has so far raised $1611 (as of the last time I checked her website).
