1. Here I am.
I just posted all the Idol stuff over at KOEB /2004 election results. I'm so bad, I keep forgetting we have our rec room now.
Will we get in trouble for posting vapid, dish about Idol on our serious Countdown thread? I hope not.

2. Here's what I posted over there.

Mario does look like Tony Shaloub, but he's Spanglish from the Bronx so I love him, plus he can sing, and he's got confidence for days.

I predict Bo or Nadia to win. Mario third, or Mario wins. Jessica Sierra has a nice quality to her voice, not awesome, but she badly needs a neck. Carrie is a cure for insomnia, she is corn-fed BORING. But you are right, the ladies are all breaking out the bodacious ta-ta's to make the cut into the top 12.

Simon likes brunettes. He may still be with his girlfriend but did you catch him say to Avila the other week ' In my next life, I'd like to come back as your microphone.' Exsqueeze me, baking powder?

3. I was having a late dinner
I don't know that we'll get in trouble for posting over there, but we can do it in private here, and no one will bitch.

Love Mario. I like your picks. Nadia needs a bit more range, and Bo needs a band, or an instrument, or something. But he's good.

Carrie is destined for modern country radio. Milquetoast.

That microphone crack was something else. And I prefer him nastier. :)

4. Mario and Nadia are my favorites. I just think Bo might win because they

haven't had a rocker yet. Nadia is definitely an alto without tremendous range but somehow it all works. She is boss. I love her style, and she seems very intelligent, it shows in her song choices.

Constantine is really a silly rock singer caricature but he does kind of know he's silly, doesn't take himself all that seriously, so I kind of like him for that. I think they might have a 'rock off' planned with Bo and Constantine. Constantine will lose.

Bet's on how long we will have to endure Tracheotomy boy? As the hubby says, every grandmother in DeMoine and Grand Rapids is voting for him. How about serial killer Scott? He has a lot of soul in his voice, he's kind of grown on me. I can't help feeling sorry for him, his daddy said he'd never amount to anything, that's just mean. He can sing too.

Simon needs to change up on his insults, he makes cabaret and theme park comparisons all the time now, or kareoke. I like him nastier too.

Paula is really getting on my nerves this year as always. It's always weird to have a woman who couldn't sing to save her life, give singing advice to others, and how many ways can she wear her hair. It astounds me.

My oldest daughter (15)cannot stand Michaela,(Fran Drescher's love child). I think she's kind of cute, she can't really sing that well though.

I'm not a singer myself, but one of my best friends is a professional and has an amazing voice. I wish they'd have an Idol competition for 'over the hill' singers. There's lots of people out there who have awesome musical talent and never got their shot. They could call it 'Old American Idol' or something catchy like that.

5. Nadia's totally boss.
And these days you don't really need a range.

How Paula ever got this gig will remain one of life's mysteries until the end of time.

Mikela (or however the hell she spells her name) had noooo business singing Barbra. My husband was screaming at the TV about how much she wanted to be Barbra and that she'd probably watched Funny Girl a million times. :) It's apparent from that clumpy mascara alone. She's so nasally when she sings. 16 going on 55. Oy vey.

I think Paula's wearing a weave.

And I like your idea for America's Oldest Idol. :)

7. I'm for Constantine all the way......
..pun intended.. he's a cutie-patootie, and what charisma.

Of course I tend to stop watching these shows when my fav's voted out or off or dies on their own vomit. Yikes, too much info there :)

The Donald's show is wearing thin, the "contestants" are all starting to look and act alike to me, and all Trump does is Trump product placement.

I'm looking forward to Martha's show.
