GD is really starting to worry me....
Here's a Keith bashing thread:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x5562446#top

I scanned the posts and didn't see any KOEBies, nor did I read all the responses. So not sure how the discussion ended up, but it's still ranking First Page worthy responses.

1. Don't worry about the tinfoil hat brigade.
In a way they're like the lunatic religious right, merely question their hobby horse and they jump on you like a Hell's Angels motorcycle gang at a rock concert. My apologies to any KOEBer's who don't think Oswald acted alone but, as KO said, their has'nt been any truly credible evidence otherwise.

2. That was my feeling about it.
I went back to the Friday show thread and mentioned it.

Some people are so obsessed with JFK assassination conspiracy theories--and their own personal pet theory--that they come to believe that anyone who doesn't believe the same theory they do is a monumentally stupid, if not downright evil and intentionally lying, human being. Part of this is because some of them have an emotional stake in being able to blame it on the Bush family, as in George the Elder. Whatever. KO disagrees with them? KO thinks Oswald acted alone? Well then, he is either stupid, or he's a patsy being paid to go on MSNBC and hide the REAL truth...I did have to laugh at how some posters ridiculed THAT idea.

You can't reason with people like that. It's like trying to teach the proverbial pig to sing. In their own way, they are EXACTLY like the religious right. The right wing has no monopoly on this kind of thinking.

Best to leave them alone examining every nanosecond of the Zapruder film, trying to figure out what they can divine from the way this piece of brain matter splattered vs. the way that one did. If they enjoy that kind of gore, they can be my guest. I'll just assume I'll never know the truth until after I die and I learn the secrets of the universe.

3. God forbid
they actually go to the Sixth Floor Museum to check it out for themselves. I have been there, have wandered around Dealey Plaza several times, & honestly, can't see how it could have been anyone BUT Oswald. As for the "Magic Bullet," all they need to do is read Mrs. Connally's account of what happened.

As for the :tinfoilhat: -ers, :eyes:
