I saw the footage of that poor woman lying on her stomach during the customer scrum and picking her wig up from off the floor. The other anchors didn't helpfully point out what had happened to her. Can you imagine turning on the TV and seeing footage of yourself doing that? :blush:

25. The kids at Thanksgiving crack me up!

My little niece was over yesterday, and we kept bantering back and forth: "I'm thankful for YOU!" "No, I'm thankful for YOU!" She also fell in love with my cat, who's still recovering from the experience. (She just freaked Muffin out with all her energy.)

27. ha! I love cats. One of my cats deliberately acts up when cat-haters

are here. Unfortunately, it also gets on my nerves--he won't stay off the dining room table, trying to be the center of attention all day long.

He works himself up so much when he sees the preparations! Now that everyone has left, he has been sleeping. He's so predictably funny.

38. My indoor furball got some outdoor playtime courtesy of a poor...

little birdie. This titmouse was caught in my cat's playhouse so I opened the door and let T-Rex out. Saw the little birdie later on, out in the yard, while trying to find my cat. He came in after dark fortunately. I think the titmice are sheltering in the bluebird house I leave up year round just for that reason.

44. Looks like not many people made it last night

and I was among the missing, but what can I say? I was still at the sister's and her Internets connection would not work.

So happy to see Keef anyway. It will be great to spend another holiday season listening to him riff on all the seasonal goofiness, from lost-wig stampedes to German Santas who fly by wire to who knows what else. And best of all, with his extra time on Dan Patrick's show, we get TWO HOURS of Keith joy five days a week, instead of just one.

Could life be better? I think not!
