3. Yeah, what was the difference? I didn't watch

because I tape the live show to catch all original glitches, etc.

Aside: Are there any four more beautiful words in the English language than:

"Keith at the helm"?

Especially for two hours?

I might as well edit this (A LOT!), because now I am wondering whether anyone here has noticed that a hot new rumor has been floating around on the cable news blogs TV Newser and Inside Cable News that someone overheard Keith's agent on the phone on a train complaining about how Keith complains all the time about his job. It all began with a blind item in the NY Post asking which "cable news" anchor was feeling stressed by his job. Read all about it, and Keith's agent's ringing denouncement that the rumors are about him, here:

http://insidecable.blogsome.com/

(it will lead you to TV Newser, which actually took down its original reference to the rumor last night)

Looks like Jean really ripped 'em a new one!

My theory is it's Joe Scarborough. He's the one with the reputation for covering the "heartland" and the "homey America" stories, and he apparently looked really overwhelmed by the Pope coverage he had to do. Whereas, IMO, our man, with his brains and insight, came out smelling like a rose. Perhaps that upset some people a bit, and they just couldn't let him sit there and take the bouquets without attempting to start yet another rumor about him based on his well-known "hot head" and old reputation for being unhappy with his jobs. Hah!

4. "Keith at the helm." Well, that's why they're called FLOATY hearts! ...
. . . (I'm such a smarty-pants. :spank:)

I can't remember now what I thought was different about the second showing last night. For the record, though, I'd like to make a blanket statement that I wish they wouldn't "fix" the tape before the re-air. They're taking all the fun out of it for people who only get to watch the repeat!

Yeah, I saw that NY Schmata gossip in the 'newser -- and KO's agent came back and gave them a piece of HER mind later, didn't she? LOL!
(Why do they pick up Murdoch's blind rumors over there -- esp. after Keith gave them all that nice free publicity in the Hartford Courant interview? In fact, the only reason I read the 'newser and Romenesko now is that Keith said HE does!)

as buoys on the sea of life, that keep us afloat when we fall over the edge. For after all, what is love? :loveya:
