Is it my imagination, or is the studio lighting considerably better tonight?

than, say, Secaucus last week.

Then again, it just might be the dark suit. :loveya:

25. Oh, I understand...
You're right about the "blueish" quality. I think that's why I noticed there was less visible gray last night. Recently, it had been very blue/white.

The suit is good. :loveya:

18. LOL. And I need your advice on something.
A Trader Joe's commercial on the radio said that their olives stuffed with blue cheese are great in martinis. My feeling: don't put cheese in martinis!! Martinis in Cheese, okay, but not the other way around.

What say you?

I do not like gin. Tastes like a pine tree to me.

I also don't think I could fit inside any olive.

But, alas, I was working and not present to sing, "War: What is it good for? Absolutely NOTHING."

However, as an alumni of the University of Tennessee (two nights in a row on the KO show!), I am proud of my fellow alumni and students. :)

So far we're impressed with what we know about this lady....and we're relieved that the one he went with for three years decided to go elsewhere...especially after meeting her Mother who would have become the mother-in-law from HELL! So far we're breathing a big sigh of relief. We understand that he's purchased the ring but is going to wait until he asks the Father for his blessings...maybe right after Thanksgiving....she's supposed to come home with him for Christmas break....

89. To her, they were the same thing.
A not-funny joke, along with "you really should read his stuff, if only to get another point of view." I cancelled the subscription immediately, and asked them to refund the money to Tsunami relief.

Funny thing is, Rush is outsourcing his own website. The woman who answered was Indian, and called it the "Rush Lim-booo" newsletter. :)

81. Eeeew.
I know just how you feel. One day, I began receiving mail from the RNC because they bought my name on a list. Still showering a la Silkwood. :)

96. Guess what happened to me.
I wound up on the Christian Coalition's mailing list at one point, and out of the blue I got an offer for a long distance plan (I forget the name of the company), with the assurances that none of their money went to support gay causes. Now I'm on a lot of mailing lists, including for organizations related to human rights, civil rights, the Holocaust Museum, and public broadcasting, and the only group I figured would take the anti-gay stance was the CC.

I didn't sign up for the long distance plan, needless to say, and was never bothered again.

97. I heard about this sort of thing...
On the Majority Report earlier this year. They had a comedian on who taped his phone conversations with salespeople from this long distance company. Hilarious!

98. Was it LoveLink?
I used to get that crap when I was pastor in North Carolina. They'd send it to all the churches. One of my parishoners apparently signed up, then told them to call our church. It took 3 days to get it through their heads that I was NOT going to change the church's long-distance plan, even if we did save $$.

I guess they didn't want us to get homo-germs. WWJC? (who would Jesus choose? the outcasts!)

99. I bought a set of those Iraq playing cards
as a gift for someone and USA Flags were the ones who did it. One RNC mailing actually contained an 8x10 of Shrub and Pickles. After I put it on my dartboard, I took great pleasure in sending it through the shredder.

Sorry it happened to you too. Yuck.
