KOEB 11/3/05 (The "Scooter Says He Didn't Do It" Edition)
Well, I'm trying to start a thread, anyway:

Is this picture of Keith hot, or what?

If you feel so moved, post away...

29. I wonder how much he is getting under the table from the former
FEMA head (ex room mate) who he funneled millions of dollars worth of
work to.

It might just be the rum but I think Brownie should get a
a bottle and a pistol and take a "walk over the hill" and
stop the screaming in his skull.

What a piece of dung ..... how many died because of his
utter incompetence?

damn cable went out ..... for the TV but the PC / web still
works both come from the same line too.

I believe that Brownie was put in place to hand out the FEMA checks in Florida last year. He never had any idea how anything worked, or how to get anything to move. * and the BFEE ran FEMA to buy votes in FL. Everything was mobilized without him and without notifying him, probably.

I think he was doing his job the same shitty way he always had, but this time the BFEE was on vacation, or passing kidney stones.

56. "Tweak" was the damning word here
and Keith was right on it.

"Tweak."

He completely IGNORES the desperate plea for help and asks "Is there anything I can tweak?"

You needed to do a hell of a lot more than TWEAK, Brownie...you needed to DO SOMETHING.

Besides be a fashion god, that is (sheesh).

It really IS all image with these people, isn't it? Rolled-up sleeves on idle arms.

58. Hi, Berry!
That's because he never did this before. He had no idea what to do because everything was done for him by others. I think he assumed others were taking care of things and that he just had to make a call or send an e-mail to someone who would make everything go away.

Why, as a human being, he did nothing, well, that may never be answered.

77. Hi, Patsela!
Michael Brown to me is like Exhibit A of the rich kid who never had to do much of anything in life and has had everything handed to him on a silver platter ever since through his family wealth and connections. I could almost feel sorry for him for never having learned how to really work and earn a living...but then I remember how many people DIED on his watch and that feeling fades real quick.

He didn't HAVE to accept a cushy six-figure job that required him to do nothing until it suddenly required him to do something...but he did...and now he's stuck.

Yet somehow, he's still getting paid.

it's his right to plead not guilty even if he is guilty as sin. the law presumes you are innocent until the government proves otherwise & if you want that presumption extended to you (on the wild off-chance you should find yourself in a similar predicament), then you should have no prob w/libby pleading "not guilty."

I'd put some of you up here but I'm having major construction done on the house which probably won't be done by then, it might though. Finally tearing apart this 70's monstrosity of a kitchen and putting a real bathroom on my second floor. Living with dust and holes in walls for awhile now.

small rooms with themes. Sounds corny but I've heard it's a sweet place. There's another small hotel like that that's an upscale hostel run by some French New Yorkers. I was researching places awhile back because I promised my oldest daughter that we could stay overnight at a hotel in NYC and eat at her favorite Indian restaurant and shop all the next day (within reason, so I've probably got some of the places bookmarked. I'll check it out.

59. 6th St., in the East Village.
I used to love it there but last time we ate there, we saw some many legged creatures crawling on the papadums. Kind of lost the urge to eat there anymore after that. There are some nicer places close by on 1st and 2nd Ave. that still qualify as being on Indian row.

that cell phones have been an ongoing problem in the press room, despite the fact that BEFORE they start, everyone is told to turn them off?

Also, Mike fines his players if their phones go off in team meetings.

The irony? Mike is the advertising star for Cellcom (the local cellular service). :7

128. Dan did mention the Cellcom gig because the irony was delicious.
Wondered if they'd do a new ad based on the incident.

"Wait...is that a Cellcom phone? Well, if it's not...well then, that's it..."

He never asked Keith about it, though. They were too busy discussing Hideki Matsui and his magic suitcase.

They probably figure they're better off. Of course, the Packers abysmal 1-7 record might have something to do with it, too.

The real miracle today? That anyone showed up at all. It was raining, then SNOWING early this morning. :scared:

(and yes, after the opening Steelers drive, I screamed at the TV "would someone please contact the Packers defense and let them know the game has started?"

She just drools at the opportunity to bring this girl's story into her show, and now that he's involved, it just too supermarket tabloid. :)
