I was on the front page of the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News

(the two papers are combined on the weekends) this morning. This is from Conyers' town hall back in July. The photographer had asked me for my name and where I live when she took the photo, but it had never been printed and I had given up that it ever would be. Imagine my surprise when my hubby brought me the paper this morning. They didn't identify me, though. It's not a great photo, but I'm the one holding the paper next to Conyers. That's the day I kissed him on the cheek at the request of a couple of KOEBers.

I almost died when my hubby woke me up with the paper this morning. In one way I was pissed they didn't identify me, but in another way I thought maybe that was a good thing -- kept me off one more list of subversives.

I think I knew Crispi was coming. Or, maybe not. You and Catch I knew about, but maybe not Crispi. It will be great to meet all of you. Less than two weeks away now!

Note that it's a bad photo, so you may or may not recognize me. It was only a few weeks after I got my hair cut, too, so it's a bit longer now.
