Anyone who ran with the story without considering the source or trying to get Sherrod's side is as guilty as Fox is. Now they're scrambling to transform this into a "dialogue on race." Weapon of mass diversion from the REAL issues--the politics of journalism and the journalism of politics.

6. Yes

When Chris asked the guy from Politico what he thought would happen in the suit, the first thing he did was take a gratuitous slam at how the administration handled it. Not that they weren't, in part, to blame, but it was a complete non sequitur. I guess he felt like he needed to take the shot when he had the opening.
