of us who are Mariners fans refer to him, Pay-Rod. He came across as all humble and crap, and yet the second the Rangers waived an obscene check in his face, he was gone. First time he came back to Seattle to play (with the Rangers), the Monopoly money rained down from the stands like a huge snowstorm. We still boo him every time he comes. I doubt he will ever get back into our good graces again, after what he did.

If LeBron isn't careful, he could bring about the same thing on himself.

There's a ticket process that goes on months in advance. The tickets are usually available through the local PBS station. Once you've got a ticket (or sign up a volunteer), you can bring stuff. Giant pieces of furniture are the same, but a slightly different process. I think they help you move it.

It's going to be a lot of fun. There's an orientation tomorrow, so I'll know more when that's done.

It is NOT just a single ride (there is some kind of double-dragon coaster, but that's not all). There's a Hogwarts you can tour, and a creation of the town of Hogsmeade, complete with shops and restauirants. So you can really have a butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, buy joke gifts at Zonko's, candy at Honeydukes and even wands. (Yeah, the wand shop was in Diagon Alley, but I gather they wanted to create Hogsmeade instead, because Diagon Alley is more of a back-to-school-shopping place, whereas Hogsmeade is where you go for fun--but who can resist wanting to buy a wand?)

It sounds like a fantasy come true to me!
