Countdown newsletter 3/29
Because I just got it, and I'm bored.

------------------------------------------------------
Tonight on Countdown
------------------------------------------------------

Another day of prayers and protests are expected Tuesday outside the
hospice where Terri Schiavo continues to hold on even after a week and a
half without food and water. The Rev. Jesse Jackson joined the vigil
outside the hospice Tuesday morning. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7326189/

The parents of Terri Schiavo have authorized a conservative
direct-mailing firm to sell a list of their financial supporters, making it likely
that thousands of strangers moved by her plight will receive a steady
stream of solicitations from anti-abortion and conservative groups.

of the son of the tribe's leader. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7318945/

Residents searched through smoldering rubble for survivors on

That's what we're working on for tonight's show.

Finally,
A 7-year-old who apparently wanted to play with friends couldn't wait.
He drove off in his father's truck, eventually running it into a ditch
before police officers managed to coax him out of the vehicle. The boy
was driving the big, dual-wheel truck erratically along Highway 27 in
Alabama when other drivers called police Thursday morning, saying they
couldn't see anyone behind the wheel. The boy rolled up the windows and
locked the doors as police approached. He pressed the gas pedal and the
truck sent mud and dirt flying but didn't move.

1. so the Girl Scouts sell cookies to make money
but the Boy Scouts decided to go for some serious cash?

And what is Jesse Jackson doing inserting himself into the Schiavo mess? Didn't get enough airtime with MJ yesterday? What's he going to do next? Hop a plane to the UK, put on a wig and pretend to be Camilla?
