1. Just remember the Navy never promoted McCain higher than
Captain even though he was a son of an Admiral, grandson of an Admiral and a POW because they knew he wasn't a good leader.

"John gave them the names of the offensive line of the Green Bay Packers...Or was it the Pittsburgh Steelers? That's what he said in Pennsylvania. Or was it the Cleveland Browns? That's what he said in Cleveland. No, wait...in Stockholm, he said he gave them the names of the members of ABBA..."

2. Drinks are on me:

Oh, so we're sticking with the Green Bay Packers, not the Pittsburgh Steelers.

One thing that occurs to me while listening to the tales of McSame in the POW camp: how could he sanction any kind of torture at all?

And what does that say about "character"?

4. Thanks, I needed that.
Desperately.

"John has never sought an earmark...and he never will...that's Sarah's department."

Oh, and RONALD REAGAN WAS HIS HERO! :applause:

But he VOTED AGAINST DEPLOYING TROOPS Reagan wanted to deploy!!!! Of course, that's the LAST time he'll go against deploying troops...

And yes, John McCain will restore that corrupt Washington, that's crawling with corrupt Republi...er, wait...

I never really hated him until then. I knew, at that moment, he had sold his soul.

11. Exactly.
Oh, speaking of him being tortured, my daughter and her sister are in the middle of a six week trip to Thailand, Laos, South Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Yesterday, they toured the Ha'noi Hilton, and had some interesting impressions of the place.

12. I wish he'd do his MST-ing himself.
Fred essentially explained what Big Business will do when Obama taxes it as it should be taxed: rather than cut excessive executive salaries or plow windfall profits back into the business, it will fire workers and jack up prices, sticking its customers with the bill. In other words, we're all gonna get punished but good for voting for him.

That's their threat, and they intend to make good on it.

14. And as these dipshit women dance listlessly around to "Johnny B. Goode,"
a song Chuck Berry (who supports Obama) should force them to stop using, Pat Pukecannon says Fred delivered a terrific "barnburner" of a speech.

Um, we can see the difference, folks.

Oh, and while I'm here, I see Jossip has gone into full anti-Keith mode. Anyone remember "Intern Wendy"? Wonder how much she had to do with that choice.

They said Tweety and TUCKER CARLSON would be co-anchoring the coverage tonight instead of Keith. Yeah, right! What a bunch of dimtwits!

Oh boy...as if Fred wasn't exciting enough...here's Droopy Joe!!!!

13. You know...
I don't know this Mrs. Palin, but "Vice Presidential nominee" and "under investigation" are not the two things you want in the same sentence. Really, at that point, it doesn't even matter what party we're talking about. It's just not, generally, a good thing.

Now Traitor Joe is saying nothing's more important in a president than "being an American."

Could it be he's trying to imply one of them is NOT an American????

OMG! Newt explains why Palin is more experienced than Obama: "She has been a real mayor. He hasn't. She has been a real governor. He hasn't...She has commanded THE ALASKA NATIONAL GUARD, he hasn't!"

Wow. Brokaw says the crowd was not excited by Lieberman!

Harold Ford was right. They are so overblowing the "experience" of Sarah Palin that they are making her sound more qualified to be president than Grampy himself. You'd think SHE belonged on top of the ticket.

I mean, come on--how can someone even THINK of trying to run for president before they've commanded the Alaska National Guard??

And Chuck Todd tells us that Sarah, the "rock star," will pack the house tomorrow night.

Funny how when people call Obama a "rock star," it's with disparagement.
