late this afternoon. She would have liked to stay another day so my dad would have had a little more time to get things ready for her, but they kicked her out. I guess that's a good thing, though.

She's going to stay upstairs, so they're not getting a hospital bed. She'll get her strength back.

Seems to me that when people are emotionally despondent, they kill themselves when physically well. When physically so ill that they are expected to die, they may kill themselves, but that's because they don't want to suffer physically any further or make others see them suffer.
