Does anyone think that the sex offender who had Shasta Groene
wanted to get caught? I mean, he shows up at Denny's with a little girl at 2:00 AM - it's not very common to see little kids at that hour of the night. And two miles from where the girl lived? Her posters would have been everywhere in that area. Did he really think someone wouldn't figure it out?

It makes me wonder if maybe he was tired of dealing with it, and just figured "screw it", so he took her somewhere where she could be "rescued". But on the other hand, if he was tired of dealing with it, why didn't he kill her and take off? It looks like little Dylan is dead, so why did he let Shasta live?

I wonder...

1. He wanted to get caught.
But I don't think he had Dylan. Ever think that maybe whoever killed their parents sold them both to different pedophiles? I may be reaching here, but there was something sick about the dude that killed them. I pray that they find little Dylan alive too.

6. Well, I was wrong.
I guess he killed them all. It's so sad that he wasn't hiding Dylan too. That poor poor little girl and her daddy.

2. Too many questions in this case
I was watching the news and had to do a double take at the picture of Shasta with her father. Her father looks a lot like the sex offender! Same age, long hair, etc. Not that this means anything, but my first thought was that the sex offender and the father could have known each other.

3. That's interesting. I hadn't thought of that.
But there are a lot of unanswered questions. Did Duncan have anything to do with the initial killings? He has a history of being a violent sex offender, but did that escalate into murdering the three people in the house and then possibly later Dylan? It's an unusual case, that's for sure.

4. At first I though maybe he killed Dylan because he wasn't
a boy pedophile, but I think I heard that he was in prison for molesting a young boy. Then I didn't know what to think.

You're right, showing up at Denny's w/the little girl so close to her home was weird. Thank god he did, but why?
