So, what was the verdict on Everything She Ever Wanted
I know that these complex cases with loads of people in them have to be boiled down to something easier to film, but it drives me crazy when the movie makers change a lot of characters. I was not too crazy about the version of ESEW I saw. The addition of the younger sister Pat took care of did not ring right, but I suppose the character existed for exposition.

1. First of all, they changed the location (I think) from Georgia
to S. Carolina. It's been a long time since I read the book, but it didn't seem right to me. At the beginning I did catch "Inspired by a true story". Which is different than "Based on a true story", I guess.

The true story was fascinating - no need to embellish, imo.
