ESEW is one of my favorite Ann Rule books, and I live near where these events took place over 30 years ago. ESEW is the story of a female "Southern-belle" sociopath, Pat Radcliffe Taylor Allanson, and the havoc she wreaked in her own and her family's lives. Gina Gershon is playing Pat.

It was a case of “doctor shopping” that brought notoriety to a woman who has seen more than her share of it in times past.
Seventy year-old Fayetteville resident Patricia Radcliff Taylor, known previously as the “Deadly Magnolia,” was arrested Feb. 26, charged with receiving 3,700 Hydrocodone tablets from area doctors in the past 21 months.
Taylor’s arrest came at the culmination of an investigation that have been underway for the past several months, said Fayette Sheriff’s Drug Task Force (DTF) Lt. Jody Thomas.
