Any suggestions on where to find good kinnickinnick?
Mitakuye Oyasin (All My Relations),
I recently received a new catlinite plains pipe and I wanted to be sure that my first smoke was with a good kinnickinnick. It was shipped to me by a Lakota friend who took great care to craft a fine pipe. I want to be sure to honor the pipe, pipe maker, and Great Spirit by treating this pipe with the respect that it deserves. I am almost surprised that it made it through FedEx without some moron thinking that it was drug paraphrenalia. I am glad to have it in hand.

Any suggestions on where to find good kinnnickinnick or blends of tobacco and other herbs that would make a good, proper smoke would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all

D

1. American Spirit Pow Wow Blend
That is about the only one I can think of. I bet you can find it at:

3. nope, it was a gift. It is a very nice one too
I've been "planning" a trip to South Dakota and I was thinking about waiting until I made the trip, so that I could stop by Pipestone and share it with the maker.

ok.......

was going to tell you not to worry, you were fucked either way, if you had bought it........

but since it was a gift from him, why not ask him what to do? or better yet, wait and share it.

kinnickinnick is pretty easy to get and make yourself anyway, and getting things yourself, in the right way(s), might be best for what you want at that.

ask the man who gave it to you how to break it in.
