I do just about everything wrong with
it.
The URL is stupid-long:
http://vixenstrangelymakesuncommonsense.blogspot.com/I have an chronic incapacity for taking myself seriously, except for when I do.
It's totally too eclectic--politics, reviews, science, SF, comics, complaining, atheism, and other stuff.
I tend to be more prolific in the wee small hours of the evening whilst most people are either asleep or a little smashed; guess which one I am (hint: I'm posting on a blog.)
It is in no way promotable because of the aforementioned stupid-long URL and the eclecticism. The only thing that keeps me from deleting the thing is the sheer pain I experienced when I deleted my last one: I am a pitiable exibitionist, and need a diary--not under lock and key, because my inner life is ridiculously impersonal (what's up with that?)--but public, as if to prove I exist.
In other words, I do this thing out of vanity and a need to vent. If anything I post gets read, I'm astonished, and if a link gets clicked I would fall over. I think this post is for commiseration from other people who realize they blog for odd personal reasons, and not for advice, because I'm probably unadviseable.
