blogger.com question about logging on

I set up a new blog on blogger.com, Dump Stephen F. Lynch. A friend of mine created an ID/password combination & posted a comment.

A few days later he tried to log back on again & the system sez he has an incorrect password.

I've perused the forums and help facility, but can find no references on how to 'fix' the password problem. This person is very challenged when it comes to computers, and I hesitate taking him down the clear cache & cookies path.

Any suggestions? Is this common occurrence?

1. Blogger.com is problematic, to say the least.

Supposedly, you can recover your password or user name
on that page.

The easiest way for your friend to bypass the current blogger.com quirkfest
is to set up a phantom identity to use online.

Get a yahoo email account, think up a catchy password, email them
both to himself, and save the email for future reference.

Then, use the phantom ID to log onto Blogger.

2. I don't have an answer to your question

since no one ever post to my blog. However here's a link to the blogger forum. It's a pretty good site that has helped me when I needed it....
