1. I wish I had the time, budget and skill.
I even have a project car sitting in my driveway - 1986 Mustang GT, only 45k original miles. Sigh...someone who knows what they're doing can make a NICE car out of it.

3. That is what my husband is looking for...
He really wants a 1970 Chevelle but he doesn't want to trade his corvette yet. I drive a 1957 Chevy. I have the 210 model with a 350, 4 on the floor black beauty. Sure beats menopause!

4. The Street Rods Come to Pueblo Every June
One weekend every year, the streets are filled with thousands of street rods. Quite a sight!!

This Ford was among hundreds of cars displayed at the 2003 Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo.

In late June, the streets of Pueblo will come alive once again to the sights and sounds of the annual National Street Rod Association Rocky Mountain Nationals.

The 20th-annual street rod show will be held June 25-27 at the Colorado State Fairgrounds.

The event, which has become a favorite summertime tradition in Pueblo, is the largest street rod show held in the Rocky Mountain region. The National Street Rod Association, the nation's largest street rod sanctioning organization, produces the event.

More than 2,000 of the vehicles, which range in price from $18,000 to $35,000, will be on display for the public during the three-day run of the show at the Fairgrounds.

5. I Didn't Use To...
like them until I watched one episode of "Rides". It was about a company (I forget the name) that hand-crafts rods from the frame-up. the one they built during the show was an amazing piece of art. I really liked it.
