HELP! Anyone know how to get into a car that has keyless entry when the
battery goes dead? There's no keyhole and neither remote works, and the keypad doesn't work either. The only thing I can figure is the battery must be dead. I called Ford/Lincoln (the car is an '03 Lincoln LS) and they have no idea! There MUST be an alternative way of getting into the car. Does anyone know? I figured there was an automotive group here at DU and thought I would send you all an SOS......Please help! I'm stranded!!

1. Break a headlight and backfeed the 12V system?
I'm lost. I cannot believe the dealer could not help you.
