Events confirming reasons for separation
have been occurring daily so I thought I'd let y'all know, and encourage you to stay with your decisions!

My mother is ailing, with newly diagnosed cervical spinal growth; dementia has been developing for some years. I let my ex/separated know because he's my daughter's father. Have gotten almost nothing but mean language from him since, as he disagrees with approach family has taken about treatment.

SO, stick with your decisions!

1. Eewwww!!
He sounds awfully pissy!! So, I assume that he's a doctor, which is why he's so disagreeable to the treatment you & your family think is best?:sarcasm:

2. Following up, jojo.
No, pisser's not a dr., not medical, anyhow; JURIS doctor (attorney.)

We're over the above issue, and he joined my daughter when she visited Mom, briefly, month +- ago; nice visit.

NOW the sob is playing games about paying for/contributing to daughter's college tuition, which is due NOW. This will cause daughter untold distress. To avoid such, I paid tuition last year, using my retirement savings. (fortunately I've got a decent pension.)

We're separated (I left house after he hurt me badly), and now I'm more physically separated as I'm still in Florida with my folks, and he's in DC.

I've retired, so have limited funds; he's still working, very good govt job, investing in mutual funds, and there's a decent amount in our joint accounts. I can't physically reach the funds as the company mails checks to house. I suggested he use those funds for tuition payment, after he tried to dump the burden on me (AFTER i'd told him that I have no $ available, and will not ask my burdened family.)

SO am about to ask the company to send check to house, in amount due now, and tell husband that its coming and he should use it for tuition. He may refuse to do so. I expect unpleasantness from him, and its such that causes me real anxiety.

Thoughts, anyone?

PS, Mom is comfortable, physically stable; dementia worsening.

Sorry for dumping this here, but have to get it off my mind (such as it is!)
