Man, my exercise is going well, but my eating is getting out of control. Too many restaurants. x( Fun, but it plays havoc with my waistline. :P

Today I did upper and lower body weights.

2nd day of HIIT training. I think I've finally found a good use for the recumbent bike. :-)

How did you do?

1. Hi Supernova!
I haven't been checking in here, but I've done well. I always do better when the weather gets nice. My summer routine starts at 6 am with a three mile walk. Then I play with the dog, while it's still cool, & then we nap. ;) In the early evening I do a quick circuit workout & I add an additional 10 minutes of aerobics. I'm trying to work up to doing my step aerobics tapes on a 6" step instead of 4". It's amazing what a difference 2" makes! }(

I've lost 15 pounds since mid-April & my blood pressure is stellar! If I keep this up through the summer, I'll be wearing that slinky Halloween costume I made a few years ago & then got to fat to wear. :o

Glad you're still with it! As for the restaurant issue, they say to ask for a doggy bag when you place your order & then put half your meal in there when it arrives. I've found I just eat it as soon as I get home. Good luck!

What kind of recumbent do you have? I got one thinking it would be more comfortable than an upright & I wish I'd gone with an upright. After about 20 minutes on the recumbent my feet start to fall asleep & I have to stand up to get the blood flowing again. I used a LifeCycle upright in a gym once & thought it was the most comfortable exercise bike I've ever used. I priced LifeCycle home models & they are in the $2000 range. ~gasp!
