A relay team, that is!

After 25+ years of road racing, I decided to run my first relay race. We did the MC200.

It starts in Madison, WI and winds along bike paths to Milwaukee and eventually Chicago. 204 miles in all. A twelve-person team runs three legs each in rotation for a total of 36 legs. Took us 25 hours, 42 minutes to complete. Here are some pics.

We finished 12th out of 104 teams. The thing was this was an out-of-state team that travels to a race each year. They had someone cancel out late and needed a local to step in. Glad I was able to help. Meet some great people from all over.
