AWOL, but back
Hi gang,

Oh man! I had such a stellar December & an impressive January. I was 15 pounds out from my goal weight.

Then, I completely lost it sometime in mid-February. In the past two months I have only worked out about 4 times. And, even worse, I gained 12 pounds! x( This new job is the most chaotic, frustrating new job I've ever had. I think it will sort out & be a great job, but it's almost certain I will have at least another 3-4 months of frustration before it starts to get better. I find myself sleeping & drinking too much. If I keep this up, I will gain back all of the 30 pounds I had taken off. Starting today, I'm taking back control of my life.

I did a 40 minute step workout. Nice & easy. One of my favorite tapes. I kept it at 4". Argh! I had worked up to 6". But where ever you're at, that's where you're at & that's where you start. I'm going back to some early morning workouts. I just can't rev up for cardio at that time of day, but a little session with weights is definitely manageable & it leaves me feeling better about myself for the rest of the day.

And even though I don't have much internet time, I will try to check in at least a couple of times a week. It really does help me to read what everyone here is doing. Now off to catch up.

:hi:
