Did anyone else work out today on Thanksgiving?

My fiance and I went to a very crowded, hot and intense yoga workshop this morning. Wow, talk about working up an appetite. It was great, though. I had surgery two weeks ago and was diagnosed with cancer one week ago today, so I wasn't sure how I would do in an intense class like this. (I've been attending gentle yoga and Pilates classes in the interim.)

The great news was that I kicked ass! I did two handstands and the "Wild Thing" (an Anusara asana - side plank, top leg bent behind, focus on the hips, lift as high as possible, lengthen, open and then extend backward - it's pretty intense). Anyway, I'm feeling strong and good.

Good for you! Two weeks after surgery...you must be in good shape already.

I ran on Thanksgiving and worked up a good appetite too.:hi:
