I just got a cortisone shot in my shoulder
I feel like such a jock!

Since beginning of Oct. I've had pain in my left shoulder, kind of near the front under the clavical - so I rested it, iced it, took advil. No improvement. Went to doc this am, had an extra, said I had inflamation in my acromioclavicular ligament (where clavical meets shoulder) - so he gave me an injection and i should be able to get back to weight lifting next week.

Yay!

2. Thank you!
I'm 43 and I still hate needles!

That's why I'll never get a tatoo.

3. I got one in my hip last week.
I could barely walk the next day, but it's feeling much better and I was able to run on Sunday with no problem.

4. I have burcitus in my left shoulder and was told I should do that ...
I'm not a big fan of needles but also was told that it's a temporary fix and would have to go back every few months for another.

Just gonna suck it up.

5. right now trying to suck it up for my right shoulder
Same problem I had with the left one - inflammation in my AC joint. But I'm taking an anti inflammatory and hoping it will get better without the needle
