3. My eating is based on the latest scientific research
Cleary stated in the updated food guide pyramid. Calories and nutrients coming from Carbs 60% Fat 30% protein 10% Emphasis on Vegetables, fruits and whole grains. I'm A HIT trainer which means brief, intense and infrequent weight training. Cardio consists of a Heavy bag, speed bag and jump rope circuit at a very high MET level. Core training and ROM is valued as a peers to the above.

I'm getting measured Friday and will share my body composition results.

4. From experience I would say your ratios are NOT conducive
to lowering your bodyfat to that level. Your carbs are WAY too high to drop that low. Look into what pro bodybuiders use to prep for a show, which is at about 3-3.5%. FWIW, the new food pyramid is useless. With ONLY 10% protien you'll lose alot of hard earned muscle.

Check this site out.

Good luck.

5. Please provide rational reasons to back up what you say
Edited on Thu Aug-31-06 02:34 PM by Room101
The responses (i.e., Progress, adaptations) from our actions should be predictable and consistent manifesting itself in measurable observable facts through the precise union of applied exercise principles that is obedient to natural laws and rebellious against personal authority and superstitions. A lifestyle that incorporates a nutritious diet of a variety of foods is a prerequisite to fuel our actions and provides the necessary internal environment for the response phenomena.

"From experience...." Please provide your recorded data like a scientific minded thinker would.
Scientist always have recorded data usually along the lines of pre, mid and post measurable observable facts (body fat%etc) caused by experimental conditions.

"Your carbs are WAY too high to drop that low" Provide scientific data. Protein and carbs are equally caloric dense.

"the new food pyramid is useless" Why? According to whom or what?

I remember you posting a reply one time saying "Arnold says" Such a statement lacks a rational causation
and relies Solly on divine word.

"With ONLY 10% protein you'll lose allot of hard earned muscle." Again please provide scientific data (peer viewed studies, etc)
