Monday, 7/25: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang,

I got hit by a train last week--well, not a train, but a stomach bug. I can't remember the last time I felt that sickly. On Wednesday, I couldn't even stand I was so nauseous. Thursday and Friday I had a hard time keeping food down. Not fun at all.

Anyway, I'm back in full force today. I jogged 3 miles and then did my upper body stint in the weight room.

What's up w/ you?

1. I was sick Thursday through yesterday myself.
I also got back to it today. Kick boxing, pilates & yoga.
But I did have to go a little easier on the kick boxing than I have been.

8. the check-ins won't die as long as I have anything to say about it!
but I have to be honest... if I don't exercise, I don't post.

I'm mostly a Monday through Friday gym person. I figure w/ all the chores I do on the weekends, I get enough of a workout.

6. I did a two mile walk/run
I'd like to up that to three miles, but I'm just starting out so I'm thinking that might be a little much right now. I'm up to running 3/16 of a mile now at one time. When I started out last week I was only able to run 1/16 of a mile at one time. Not bad I don't think for a guy who weighs 273 pounds. Oh, and that's down from 277 when I started out last week. So everything is going well. Tomorrow I lift and do more walk/running.

7. Re-introducing myself
I stopped by once before and then promptly went travelling (and eating) for two months. But now I'm back in Bangkok and still committed to my routine.

Today I did my one-hour cardio pilates video -- it's 30 minutes pilates, 30 minutes of low-impact cardio.

I've also discovered a little something called iamplify.com, where you can download audio files for a small fee; it's great if you travel a lot because they have "hotel room" workouts to keep you active on the move. It helped a lot with all my traveling.

Anyway, I'm hoping to start checking in daily. I love seeing all the posts from other folks, keep up the amazing work everyone! I hope the stomach bugs clear up.
