Fri, 6/17: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang!

I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and then I went into the weight room and did some of the exercises that the trainer showed me for my knee.

There's good news and bad news. Good news: the knee is feeling pretty good. One of the exercises that the trainer showed me tells me that the knee really is pretty weak and that I should stick to the exercises.

The bad news: my hip is bothering me today. I wonder if it isn't because I've been favoring the knee.

1. I worked out!
I did an aerobic video, upper body wights & yoga.
I weighed my self this morning & after 2 weeks I have lost 4.2 lbs.
I also am excited because I won a $110 weighted walking vest through a contest I signed up for a while ago. I had a message on my machine last night to call to give them my size.

6. Thanks! You have been an inspiration to me.
Posting my workouts has helped me stay on track the last few weeks. I am back to setting goals, short & long term. It feels good.

3. I overslept....and now I'm feeling guilty
I think I'll be able to find time to do a workout video this afternoon though. My arms are still sore from doing it 2 days ago.

So for the week (if I run tomorrow)

Ran 2 miles - 3 times
Rode Bike 15 miles - once
Workout video - 3 times

7. I did that Wednesday
I can relate. I work out every day and if I miss one, I feel such guilt it almost consumes me. I try to tell myself that I deserve a rest day, but I still can't help it. I feel like I've "blown it" and as a result, overeat and think, "Well, since I screwed up, I'm going to screw up big!"

As for today, I did Cross Train Express All Step.

Hope you have time to do your video later! :-)

8. Hip and knee pain can be related
Hope you're feeling back to 100% really soon.

I am on my way to a Pilates workshop in a few minutes. I'm sure I'll get a good workout from that :wipes sweat off brow: :hi:
