Whew! Did intervals on the treadmill for 55 minutes. That was about 3.25 miles.

1. not me today
i am aching all over from a day of grouting a floor. not exactly exercise, but not couch potato-ness either.
i made 3 new years resolutions this year. one is a continuation of last year- kids are gonna do chores or die. we made a lot of progress last year, but not enough.
exercise is the 2nd.
3rd is to spend at least 1 day/week at my studio. so that is what i am doing today.
tomorrow, it will be the gazelle and a movie. either "elf", which i have, or off to blockbuster.

3. Clean & jerks and overhead squats
Only 135 lbs for the C&J - I am working on technique & flexibility. As has been said, practice makes permanent and it's easier to correct errors now. Same with the overhead squats - just 75 lbs. Oh, my aching hip flexors!

7. I did my 6 minute mile today.
It wasn't so bad. I think I could have kept going another 0.5 mile at 10 mph. The treadmill quit on me 5 minutes through the run. I had to reset the machine to run the last minute. I did bunch of weight exercises after that (mostly with arms).
