A product plug for all you Runners and Joggers
I've posted on here about various problems I was dealing with since I began running about a month ago. I was battling shin splints and arch pain. I've done a bunch of reading and research as well as changed my routine a bit.

So far the most dramatic relief I've received was this past week when I purchased some Spenco shoe inserts. You'd be amazed how thin and supportless the insoles that come with your "good running shoes" are until you remove them and compare them to the Spenco ones. I initially had purchased the arch supports but those rubbed a blister on the bottom of my foot. So I then picked up the full insoles and they are amazing! I felt like I was so much lighter on my feet and the impact was very noticably softer. My arches are now receiving the support they require. It's made a huge difference.

These insoles cost around $13 and it feels like I've got a brand new pair of shoes. I would highly recommend any of you who are running pick up a pair. Even if you aren't battling any problems.

3. I think they are widely available
My friend picked my pair up at Academy Sports or Sports Authority or something like that.
