1. Very cool. and in keeping with the visual theme, here's one for you.
Skinny Puppy live.

Reznor has worked with these guys on side projects, most notably the band Pigface, where Reznor did the song "Suck". Ogre from Skinny Puppy sings it on the live Pigface CD "Welcome To Mexico, Asshole", and they've both sung it together on tour. Reznor and Ogre are all part of that incestuous circle of industrial bands that includes NIN, Ministry, Pigface, The Revolting Cocks, Frontline Assembly and KMFDM. They all share band members, tour together, and record together under various monikers. Thankfully for fans of industrial, like me. :)

And now I'm sitting here listening to Skinny Puppy at 4:30 in the morning. I need help.

3. Everyone thinks Alice in Wonderland is a children's story because of the Disney movie.
But the book is really aimed at adults, not kids. There's a million awesome quotes from it that I love, and I highly recommend the book to anyone up for something deeper than what it appears to be.

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.

4. I never read the entire book, but...
I ALWAYS saw in it the darker side. Same with Willy Wonka. But, that's just morbid little old me, I guess I LOOK for the darker side of things. Looking back even many of the songs I loved as a kid were about death. "Wildfire"-Michael Murphy , about a horse freezing an dying in the snow. And "Seasons in the Sun"- Terry Jacks , saying good bye when you are dying. "Golden Slumbers"-The Beatles, I could certainly continue if I rattle my brain cells around a bit more.
