I wanted to point this out.

Just as there are Fundies and Progressive Christians,
there are militant Atheists and Progressive Atheists.

We got a lot of support on this thread, and yes, it
was eventually locked after the member above, a non-believer,
alerted the mods.

It did show sides of some posters that surprised and encouraged me.

I've noticed a change in moderating ever since the last moderate pick cycle. But, I've also noticed that Longhorn's (may she rest) name is still listed as mod on many forums, so perhaps they are short handed this time around :shrug:

With not enough mods to monitor the forums,
things can slip through the cracks.

It is very encouraging to see some of the heavy duty
members here who mince no words, come out in
strong defense of spiritual/religious tolerance.
