If so I would like to list them on my site. :)

1. Nope, for 2 reasons...
Our computer/on-line person has left,
and I don't write out my sermons. I don't even know if they're recorded or not.

3. Thanks, GPV...
I do occasionally post stuff I've written for my newsletter. Sermons are tricky things. I don't even preach the same sermon for my 2 churches... I tend to get more specific to the needs of each.

Thanks for the hug!

4. We have recorded them on cassette
Yes, creaky old cassettes for someone to take to shut-ins. Most of the oldsters have cassette players at least.

6. I think it is nice
Turns out the thing they miss most is in the middle of the service. People get up and make annoucements about upcoming meetings, or trips, or who needs visiting or praying for. It's sorta the audience participation portion of the program. :D

Hearing that, moreso than hearing the sermon or the music is what makes stay at homes feel part of the community.

7. Yeah at our church we get up and shake hands with everyone just after
the announcements. It's a favorite of mine.

8. Guess I go to touchy-feely churches
Getting up and shaking hands would seem terribly formal at most of the churches I've gone to over the last 25 years. They all do hugs mostly. One of the things I miss because I haven't really connected with any church where I live now, so I'm mostly a solitary.

9. Oh, we do hug too but some people are a little uncomfortable with that so
with them we shake hands.

10. Oh, okay.
The churches I've gone to regularly are the same that way. No coerced or peer-pressured hugs. I always find it somewhat interesting to observe the many levels and kinds of non-verbal communication that happen to signal (and detect) whether someone is a hugger or a hand-shaker, and whether they are so with strangers or only people they know. A whole lot of communication happens in a second or two.

and also has them written, so you can read them.
