Sen. Barack Obama's presidential run--Link from GD
Edited on Wed Apr-02-08 04:44 PM by bliss_eternal
Asked my Husband if he thought that Barack Obama would become President, and here is what he said:

w/Frenchie Cat's permission--and thank you FC for such a warm, inspirational post (and thread). (:hi:Frenchie Cat!)

I thought it would be good to link this here. Sen. Obama is a bi-racial/mixed American. Regardless of how anyone here (or in the main forums) may feel about Sen. Obama or his supporters, this event is historic. Unfortunately, there have been a great deal of...shall I say, less than pleasant posts about race and ethnicity during the course of this. Much of the tone and spirit of such posts has made me reluctant to read, much less post in the main forums during the primaries (or just prior to them).

This thread seemed (for me at least) a little ray of sunshine in a sea of incessant bickering. For that, I felt it was appropriate for this area.

Enjoy!
